Work, in most situations is pretty stressful. However, there are definitely some jobs that take stress to a whole new level. The most stressful jobs in the nation consist of a variety of jobs and careers that surprisingly enough involve other people.
When you deal with other people’s kids, money, or time there will always be stress in your job or workplace. These things usually involve a lot of emotion, which in turn can be taken out on people in certain fields.
According to a recent poll, the most stressful jobs include the following: inner city high school teacher, police officer, miner, air traffic controller, medical intern, stockbroker, journalist, customer service/complaint worker, secretary, and waiter.
These are only the top ten most stressful. If you think about it, all those jobs are really stressful, or could be. That doesn’t take away the fact that your job is probably stressful too.
Most likely if you work in a field where other people’s kids, money, or time are involved, it is a sure case that your job is pretty high on the list for being stressful too.
If you have one of the jobs listed above, there are ways to make sure that you don’t get burned out too quickly. Even though it is really difficult to find time for you, it is a must.
Finding a balance between your work, family, and personal life is detrimental if you want to survive. Find ways that you can relax and unwind from your work. Try to leave work where it belongs so you can focus on the things that really matter most.
Most stressful jobs usually make you work numerous amounts of hours, exhausting your abilities to function in other areas. Be aware of this. If you aren’t careful, I have seen relationships fail and even personal health.
If you work in a stressful job, find time to develop hobbies and relationships. Not only this will help rejuvenate you, but you will also be able to release a lot of tension that builds up from the day in and day outs of work.
